Holmer Lake Primary School

My name is Kelly King. I have 3 children who currently attend Holmer Lake school. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend their early years as a SAHM, which was a role my family really valued.

I have a keen interest in early childhood development and believe passionately that all children deserve the very best level of education. It is my firm belief that School should be a fun, safe and inspiring place for our children to nurture their interests and bring out their full potential.

I have a level 3 qualification and training in EYFS and am currently employed by Families In Telford as their Play Focus worker. I am also experienced in working with vulnerable people and in Mental health. 

I am a proactive person who cares deeply about our local community. Prior to my current post I served as a committee member and Trustee for Families in Telford for a number of years. I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to this role as Parent Governor.
